The Volari COPD app helps people in three key ways:

  1. Tracks behaviour on different dimensions such as smoking habits, activity level and adherence.
  2. Helps people Learn more about their condition and habits with insightful graphics.
  3. Rewards progress via gamification and enables people to share their progress reports with their family or health care professionals.

COPD Support Ireland is a charity set up to support all those living with the disease, and is Ireland’s first national COPD support and advocacy body. Damien Peelo, CEO of COPD Support Ireland:

“For those who have COPD, the smallest of tasks can seem like a huge struggle to overcome. People living with COPD can make small changes to their everyday lives that will help them. By using the Volari COPD patient app every day, we hope that our members can make changes in a positive way and be motivated to stay on the right track and thereby improve the management of their COPD.”
